Job Title: Cladding Design Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Cladding Design Manager to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating and designing facades, cladding, and glazing solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facade design and glazing, with experience in producing shop drawings and mentoring junior designers. You will work closely with our team to ensure the successful implementation of projects and contribute to the development of our design capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop facade, cladding, and glazing solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards.
  2. Produce high-quality shop drawings and technical documents to support project delivery.
  3. Mentor and guide junior designers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet client needs and project goals.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design capabilities.
Requirements:
  1. Relevant degree or certification in architecture, engineering, or a related field.
  2. Experience in facade design and glazing, with a strong understanding of facade systems and cladding materials.
  3. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  4. Strong knowledge of design software and tools, including Autodesk Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
