Manufacturing Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Automation Engineer to join our team in Witney. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement across automation machinery, including PLCs, Robotics, and Hydraulics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and implement continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Design and implement new factory machinery and processes to meet business targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure production and quality targets are met.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in automation systems, PLCs, Robotics, and Hydraulics.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
Requirements:
  • Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC/HND, or Degree).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a production engineering role.
  • Experience working with high-volume manufacturing areas with complex products.
  • Proven track record of working with internal teams to achieve production and quality targets.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
