Manufacturing Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Automation Engineer to join our team in Witney. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement across automation machinery, including PLCs, Robotics, and Hydraulics.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and implement continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Design and implement new factory machinery and processes to meet business targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure production and quality targets are met.
- Develop and maintain expertise in automation systems, PLCs, Robotics, and Hydraulics.
- Lead and mentor junior team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
- Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC/HND, or Degree).
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a production engineering role.
- Experience working with high-volume manufacturing areas with complex products.
- Proven track record of working with internal teams to achieve production and quality targets.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
