Automation Systems Specialist

Are you a skilled Automation Engineer looking to drive continuous improvement in a high-volume manufacturing environment? Do you have experience with Automation systems, PLCs, Robotics, and Hydraulics? We have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Automation Engineer to join a well-established specialist manufacturer in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver continuous improvement and machinery projects into production
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, with budgets ranging from £100k to £1m
- Implement new factory machinery and processes
- Work with a high-volume manufacturing area with complex products
- Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC/HND, or Degree)
- Minimum 2 years in a production engineering role
- Experience with Automation systems, PLCs, Robotics, and Hydraulics
- Proven track record of working with internal teams to meet production and quality targets
- Proven people management skills, with the ability to develop others
- Experience of designing and implementing a factory or production line
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems ISO
- Experience of programming CNC machine tools or PLC systems or Industrial Robots
