Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at 5 Star Recruitment. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality and Safety
    • Ensure a high level of quality in service provision by meeting quality expectations and agreed performance criteria.
    • Participate in the continuous improvement of the service by contributing to the development of new procedures and protocols.
  • Service User Support
    • Provide person-centered support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their independence, wellbeing, and choice.
    • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, housekeeping, and cooking.
    • Support individuals to access community-based services and facilities.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a high-quality service is delivered.
    • Communicate effectively with service users, families, and other stakeholders.
  • Professional Development
    • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
    • Contribute to the development of new policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
