Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and analyze metrics from operating systems and applications to optimize performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning

Requirements
  • Experience in a senior Cloud Platform Engineer / SRE / DevOps role
  • Deep technical knowledge of AWS services, including Compute, Containers, Networking, Storage, Security, Identity, and Compliance
  • Deployment and management of containerization technologies (Docker)
  • Operations or systems administration experience, particularly on Linux (Debian)
  • Deep understanding of LAMP architectures
  • Proficient with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools (New Relic / Splunk)
  • Excellent knowledge of script languages and shell scripts (Terraform / YAML)
  • Ability to automate tasks by scripting (Bash / Lambda)
  • Experience deploying systems into cloud environments using Infrastructure As Code technologies (Terraform)
  • Track record of implementing systems
  • Experience managing complex web / API environments
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Experience in managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Enterprise, GitHub actions, and runners)
Desirable
  • AWS Certifications
  • Proficient with Linux, in several flavors, and the use of command line tools
  • Knowledge of encryption technologies (SSL/TLS)
  • Experience with BCP and DR practices
  • Proficient in the configuration and maintenance of SQL and able to write and read SQL queries
  • Experience with GraphQL
