About the Role

Kin + Carta is seeking an experienced Senior Google Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Google Cloud services and a passion for building innovative cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust Google Cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal and customer teams to deliver high-quality cloud solutions.
  • Provide consultancy on Google Cloud engineering practices and contribute to workshops.
  • Work on a variety of projects, including greenfield Google Cloud foundations, workload migration, and modern data and AI platform builds.
  • Produce high-quality documentation and assist in developing Kin + Carta's Google Cloud capabilities and services portfolio.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience with core Google Cloud services, such as IAM, networking, security, and operations.
  • Solid understanding of Google Cloud's compute services, such as Compute Engine, and serverless platforms like Cloud Run and App Engine.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform, and a clear understanding of infrastructure pipeline concepts.
  • Google Cloud technical certification, such as the Associate Cloud Engineer Certification, Professional Cloud Developer or Professional Cloud Architect.
  • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to stay updated on key Google Cloud technologies and innovations.
