Key Responsibilities

\

As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner (PBS), you will play a vital role in providing specialist residential care in community settings.

\

Your key responsibilities will include:

\
  • \
  • Supporting predominantly in the following areas: Staff training & development, Functional Behaviour Assessment, Behaviour Support Planning (BSP), BSP implementation (including practice workshops), and Incident analysis & debrief.\
  • Developing and implementing personalised support plans that meet the needs and help grow the independence and life skills of the individuals we support.\
  • Promoting the use of PROACT-SCIPr-UK and reducing the use of restrictive practices.\
  • Conducting assessments and developing interventions for individuals presenting with Challenging Behaviours.\
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting as required.\
  • Contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.\
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.\
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and agencies to achieve the best possible outcomes for the individuals we support.\
  • Participating in regular supervision and professional development activities.\
  • Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that the highest standards of care are maintained at all times.\
  • Managing conflicts or complaints in a fair and consistent manner.\
  • Representing Priory Group in a professional and respectful manner at all times.\
  • Attending meetings and contributing to decision-making processes as required.\
  • Undertaking any other duties as reasonably requested by your line manager or senior colleagues.\

Salary and Benefits

\

The salary for this role is £30,000 per annum, and you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including access to training and development opportunities.

As a condition of employment, you will be required to undergo a successful disclosure at an appropriate level from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
