About the role:

We are seeking a skilled Loss Prevention Officer to support the provision of a safe and secure working and shopping environment.

This role involves working within our Loss Prevention team to effectively deter and prevent loss, providing a uniformed presence to protect company assets.

This position is based in a retail environment and requires strong relationships with local police and store teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the provision of a safe and secure working and shopping environment.
  • Working closely with store teams and local police to identify and mitigate high-risk areas.
  • Engaging with store management to ensure company LP standards are adhered to at all times.
  • Actioning any other duties as requested by the Regional LP Manager.

About you:

  • Previous security experience within a retail environment is preferred.
  • You'll be flexible and willing to work across different stores and opening times.
  • Travel will be required on a day-to-day basis to cover a cluster of stores within a reasonable travelling distance from your home address.
  • You'll be committed to keeping our store teams and customers safe.
  • You'll be well-organised with the ability to work well in a fast and busy store.
  • You'll be hardworking, self-motivated, and always ready to use your initiative.
  • You'll be a confident communicator who can build great relationships with store teams, police, and customers.
  • You'll be fully flexible to work 5 out of 7 days, including weekends and evenings.
  • You'll be comfortable with using IT systems/computers.
