About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Loss Prevention Advisor to join our team at HomeSense. As a Loss Prevention Advisor, you will play a critical role in protecting our customers, associates, and assets from loss and theft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and analyze incidents of loss and theft to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Work closely with store teams to educate and train associates on loss prevention best practices and protocols.
  • Develop and implement strategies to prevent and detect loss and theft, including conducting regular audits and reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to share best practices and improve overall loss prevention efforts.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to customers and associates, while maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor.
Requirements
  • Experience in a fast-paced retail security environment, preferably in a loss prevention or asset protection role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. business, criminology, security) preferred.
