About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety professional to join our team as an HSE Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental policies and programs for our manufacturing organisation in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and updating HSE policies and procedures to ensure effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
  • Conducting regular risk assessments and audits to identify hazards, and implementing corrective and preventative measures as needed.
  • Designing and delivering training programs to educate employees on HSE best practices, fostering a strong safety culture.
  • Investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses, documenting findings, and implementing improvements.
  • Leading initiatives to reduce the company's environmental footprint and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Requirements
  • A strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental management systems.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and analytical skills.
What We Offer
