Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Social Worker to join our team in Southwark, London, working with families who require support through various child protection plans. This role involves working collaboratively with a dedicated team to assess complex family situations, develop effective plans, and promote positive outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex cases within Southwark's practice framework, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, support networks, and other professionals to deliver high-quality social work practice.
  • Mentor and coach less experienced practitioners to ensure they have the necessary skills and confidence to succeed.

Requirements and Salary:

  • QSW Status, including qualification, Social Work England registration, and completed ASYE.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working in child protection or safeguarding services.
  • Competitive salary package, including £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
