About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Dermatologist to join our dynamic team at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our dermatology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading clinical teams, and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist dermatology services to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of skin conditions.
  • Lead and manage clinical teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development of our dermatology services, including service improvement initiatives and research projects.
  • Participate in clinical governance meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and mentor junior doctors and other healthcare professionals.

Person Specification
  • MRCP or equivalent qualification.
  • Completion of dermatology training with CCT.
  • 4 years' experience as a dermatology trainee.
  • Strong commitment to developing the clinical service.
  • GCP training.
  • Research training.
