**Behaviour Support Specialist**

We are seeking a skilled Behaviour Support Specialist to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Behaviour Support Specialist, you will work on a full or half-day basis, challenging and motivating pupils, reinforcing self-esteem, and providing pastoral support.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people. You will work closely with classroom teachers to implement effective behaviour management strategies and provide support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Implement positive behaviour management strategies to promote a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to develop and implement behaviour plans.
  • Provide individualised support to pupils with SEN, adapting your approach to meet their unique needs.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive school culture, promoting social, emotional, and academic well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and behaviour.

**Requirements:**

  • Experience working with children and young people, particularly those with SEN.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management principles and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
