Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records to ensure accurate financial data.
  2. Prepare payment runs and reconcile vendor statements to optimize cash flow and reduce costs.
  3. Drive departmental actions by reviewing open purchase orders to minimize delays and maximize efficiency.
  4. Lead credit control efforts for B2B sales channels to protect revenue and maintain customer relationships.
  5. Reconcile customer statements to ensure account accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  6. Collaborate with the operations team on invoicing, credit notes, and customer relationship management to deliver exceptional service.
  7. Prepare and post monthly journals, including accruals and prepayments, to maintain accurate financial records.
  8. Support inter-company transactions and VAT processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  9. Perform account reconciliations to ensure best practices are followed and identify areas for improvement.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment.
  2. Proficiency in Excel is essential, with Oracle NetSuite skills being highly desirable.
  3. Strong time management skills to thrive in a small finance team and prioritize tasks effectively.
  4. Experience handling high volumes of transactional data to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
