Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing individualized support to students with specific needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning
- Assisting in the development of resources, schemes of work, and teaching strategies to meet the needs of our students
- Evaluating student progress through agreed assessment activities
- Providing regular feedback to teachers on student achievement, progress, and needs
- Leading small group sessions and interventions as required
- Supporting students' personal needs where necessary
- Contributing to creating a purposeful and supportive learning environment
- Undertaking structured learning activities and teaching programmes as agreed
Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for an individual with:
- Qualifications to degree level or equivalent
- Knowledge of strategies for working with young people with challenging behaviors
- Awareness of social issues affecting students from disadvantaged backgrounds
- Experience of working directly with young people in an education or training environment
- Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders
- Managing and being responsible for own workload
