Business Development Manager (Asset Reliability)

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our Asset Reliability sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to grow long-term and profitable business in the Asset Reliability Division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and contribute to the winning of new customers through presentations, negotiations, and follow-up activities.
  • Visit customer sites to present our services and survey their current requirements.
  • Manage new customer set-up, including the creation of accurate records and required documentation.
  • Contribute to the development of effective business strategies, priorities, and market propositions.
  • Proactively stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and across the business to identify opportunities for cross-selling.
  • Attend industry events to stay informed on market developments.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in the field of Reliability in either Sales or as a Service Engineer.
  • Highly effective sales, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing bids, tenders, contract negotiations, and opportunity pipelines.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize while meeting targets.
  • Naturally, you will have excellent attention to detail, working with detailed proposals and CRM systems.
