Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our growing team at Universal Business Team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and expanding our customer base in the construction and heavy equipment industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct outbound calls to existing, lapsed, and potential customers to introduce our range of undercarriage parts and ground-engaging tools.
- Follow up on leads generated from digital marketing campaigns and engage customers to build strong relationships.
- Maintain and update our CRM database, ensuring accuracy in customer data, including product needs and equipment details.
- Drive new business development by identifying growth opportunities, upselling and cross-selling relevant products to increase revenue.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales team to develop lead-generation strategies and maximise opportunities from customer quotes.
- Proven experience in sales, particularly in the construction or heavy equipment sector.
- Ability to work independently and within a team, driving sales success.
- Strong communication and phone-based selling skills with excellent negotiation abilities.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales processes.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- A proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
