Mears Group offers a unique opportunity for an experienced individual to join our team as a Part-time Safeguarding Support Officer. This exciting role supports asylum seekers in their right to work asylum application process with the Home Office.

The successful candidate will provide practical and emotional support to service users, ensuring they are supported at various stages of their asylum application process. They will also monitor well-being and support needs, maintain accurate records for Home Office audit purposes, and identify individuals' and families' needs.

We are looking for someone with experience working with vulnerable client groups, understanding of safeguarding, and effective communication skills. The ideal candidate should also possess record keeping and risk assessment experience, be able to work under their own initiative, and have a full UK driving license.

In return, we offer a competitive salary up to £28,350 per annum, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and access to a company vehicle and fuel card.
