About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Advisor - Electrical to join our team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Health and Safety Team, you will play a critical role in promoting awareness and high standards of health, safety, and wellbeing across our organization.

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee the health and safety services for Essentia, focusing on healthcare risks, especially across the estates and facilities services.
  • Promote awareness and maintain high standards for health and safety, leading initiatives to address hazards and implementing interventions.
  • Support with training, investigations, and monitoring, fostering awareness of health and safety throughout Trust activities.
  • Strategically provide advice and direction, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and designing policies to integrate safe practices across Essentia.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Educated to Bachelor's Degree or relevant professional qualification/training or relevant experience which will be supplemented by specialist training, experience, and courses on specific areas of the management of health and safety, risk, auditing.
  • NEBOSH Fire Safety and Risk Management/Construction Safety or relevant experience.
  • Recognised qualification in auditing or able to demonstrate relevant experience in this field.
