Job Title: Head of Cyber Security

Method Resourcing is partnering with a leading global financial services business to find a Head of Cyber Security with expertise in cyber insurance products and services.

Job Summary:

This role involves representing the company and requires both insurance and consulting experience. The successful candidate will guide underwriters and high-value clients on cyber risks, help develop new cyber insurance products, and oversee the full product lifecycle, including third-party partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of cyber insurance products and services
  • Guide underwriters and high-value clients on cyber risks
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle, including third-party partnerships
  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting, with 2+ years in a leadership role
  • Experience in Lloyd's Market, reinsurance, and retail insurance is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of cyber insurance products and current market trends
  • Expertise in security tools and technologies such as firewalls, encryption, and penetration testing
  • Understanding of underwriting practices for cyber risks
  • Excellent consulting, communication, and presentation skills, able to speak at board level and industry events
  • Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and team management abilities
