It’s a role for someone who wants to stay at the cutting edge of cyber, someone with a curious mind, an innovator who wants to be involved in catastrophe modeling, quantifying cyber risk, and understanding the strategic threat landscape.


This is a pathway role with a great future that can lead to many potential routes in the future of cyber. Working across multiple sectors, you’ll support government depts, insurers FS, and more.

It’s a great development opportunity because what you don’t know you’ll be taught. You’ll deputise for the Head of Cyber and before long have a direct report.



Of equal importance is the team you work with, and this is a great team. Without a great team, it can’t be a great role, and this is a great role now and with incredible potential.



Some of The Requirements of the Cyber Security Consultant:



  • Client facing experience and great communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to communicate tech issues to non-tech audiences in jargon-free language.
  • A current knowledge of the cyber threat landscape, IT fundamentals and security frameworks such as the ISO 27001 and NIST Mitre.
  • Experience presenting to stakeholders
  • If you have certs such as, CISM, CISSP - great, but not essential.
