Director – Offensive Security – London Office - £150 - £180k


The Director of Offensive Security will be leading multiple teams whilst spearheading the cyber security strategy. This role requires a leader with strong business acumen and ideally 10 years experience working in an Offensive Security, Application Security, or Penetration Testing background within a SAAS environment.


Collaboration and communication are key to this role as the Director of Offensive Security will be liaising with a global board of stakeholders. The teams beneath the Director of Offensive Security will be made up of network and application testers.


Responsibilities of the Director of Offensive Security:

  • Lead technical teams of penetration testers (Network & Application) along with other cross-functional teams.
  • Ownership of the future road map
  • Drive and identify collaborative ideas to resolve security vulnerabilities
  • Guide the team to effectively protect complex systems with the correct application frameworks and network architectures
  • Encourage and promote technical expertise to ensure the team is high performing
  • Allocate and prioritise team resource
  • Create and establish first-class training and development initiatives


Requirements of the Director of Offensive Security:

  • Prior leadership experience of penetration testers and application security engineers
  • Can navigate a Global organisational structure and heavily influence senior stakeholders
  • Comfortable with public speaking and presenting to external stakeholders
  • Relevant education degrees or certifications in Cyber Security, Offensive Security or Penetration Testing
  • SAAS industry experience
  • Excellent communication skills
