Job Title: Senior Property Accountant

Job Summary:
Trident International Associates is seeking a highly skilled Senior Property Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Property Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the service charge accounting function, implementing and reviewing best practice processes, and ensuring accurate and clear documentation is maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and reviewing quarterly service charge accounts.
  • Preparing and overseeing the year-end service charge reconciliation.
  • Setting up and managing tenant apportionments.
  • Billing and charging tenants balancing charges or credits.
  • Reviewing and assisting with new budgets and end-of-year commentaries.

Requirements:

A qualified or QBE accountant with experience gained in property development, asset, and/or estates management. Solid knowledge of property accounting systems such as YARDI / MRI / QUBE / TRAMPS or similar and strong Excel skills. Knowledge of RICS regulations, CIS, and VAT statutory requirements is essential. Detailed knowledge of Service Charge and RICS audit processes is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels. Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
