ASC Connections, a renowned UK automotive brand with a rich history of designing and manufacturing high-performance motor vehicles, is seeking an experienced professional to lead their formidable design team.

This is a business with a bold approach to design, utilising original styling and engineering with purpose. The design function consists of project teams who shape and develop iconic motor vehicles, where Areas of Expertise include chassis and powertrain functions.

As a Senior Automotive Design Manager, you will manage a small team, working across packages or areas of the vehicle, coordinating development against time, cost, and potential setback considerations.

The role will be highly technical, focused on detail and delivery, planning, and leadership. You will demonstrate good commercial awareness and understand design consequences on all areas of the business.

We are seeking agile and flexible design specialists that have an automotive background and apply a technical approach, with judgement and decision making at the highest level. Our estimated salary for this position is £80,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team of designers and engineers in the development of new vehicle models
  • Coordinate development activities across multiple departments
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
