Job Overview

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in automotive engineering, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing projects from concept to delivery. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of various automotive components, ensuring adherence to NMIP processes and KPIs.
  • Collaborate extensively across the supply chain to optimise teamwork and project efficiency.
  • Maintain detailed project plans to ensure timely delivery of current and future project milestones.
  • Challenge and refine existing processes to enhance departmental effectiveness.
  • Escalate issues and risks as necessary through the reporting structure.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • MEng or BEng in an Engineering discipline.
  • Experience as a senior design engineer with 2d & 3d in-depth knowledge.
  • Strong technical proficiency with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience with Creo and SolidWorks is required.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and progressively work independently.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering results on time and to specifications.
