About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Supervising Social Worker to join our team in Cardiff and East Wales region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that children's care and development needs are met within placements by undertaking necessary placement management, planning, and intervention for both emergency and planned referrals.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage caseloads and provide regular updates to the team.">
  • Collaborate with foster carers, social workers, and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.">
  • Conduct home visits and assess the suitability of placements.">
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.">
  • Act as a key point of contact for carers and families, providing emotional support and guidance when needed.">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • ">
  • A recognised Social Work qualification.">
  • A current Social Care Wales registration.">
  • A full UK Driving Licence and vehicle.">
  • Experience in children's services and foster care delivery.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.">
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.">
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.">
