Job Requirements
1. Provide direct one-to-one learning and well-being support for a child with an EHCP (Educational Health Care Plan) and SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disability).
a) Work with the child on specific activities, as directed by teaching staff and using your own initiative.
b) Prepare classroom materials tailored to the individual child's needs.
c) Monitor and regularly provide feedback on the child's learning and well-being.
d) Set up equipment as required and put it away after use.
e) Undertake non-teaching tasks to assist the child during lessons, as directed.
f) Assist the child with toileting and personal hygiene, as necessary.
g) Attend CPD (Continuing Professional Development) and work closely with external agencies.
h) Take a lead role in promoting and protecting the health, safety, and well-being of the child.
i) Liaise closely with other staff members and stakeholders to deliver the best possible provision and outcomes for the child.
