We are seeking a skilled Financial Planning Administrator/Paraplanner to join our team in Ipswich. The successful candidate will provide high-quality financial planning support to Financial Advisers, ensuring compliance with FCA standards and our Chartered Code of Ethics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collate and manage information for client meetings.
  • Process applications and servicing matters, communicating with providers, clients, and professional parties.
  • Process post-sale requirements, ensuring deadlines are met for individual and corporate clients.
  • Utilize computer-based systems, including Iress Adviser Office, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Compliance and Technical Requirements:

  • Ensure client files and company records are compliant with FCA regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with legislation, taxation, and trusts, as well as technical, product, and provider changes.
  • Compile recommendation/suitability letters, building from basic templates, and conduct holistic para-planning research.

Training and Development:

  • Continue private study to obtain the CII level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
  • Pass internal training and testing in Data Protection, Complaints, Anti-Bribery, and Money Laundering.
  • Complete ongoing technical training and annual CPD requirements.

Requirements and Experience:

  • At least 4 GCSEs, including English and Maths, at grade C or above.
  • Partial completion of the CII level 4 Diploma modules.
  • At least 2 years of IFA support experience, including use of a back-office system.
