Job Summary:

We are looking for a Customer Service Adviser to take responsibility for providing exceptional customer service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the motor trade, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet all customers cheerfully and attend to their requirements promptly.
  • Vehicle Details: Obtain and record full customer/vehicle details and accurate description of work to be carried out.
  • Sales: Sell products to customers, such as brake services, number plates, fuel treatments, service plans, replacement tyres, and MOTs.
  • Invoice Preparation: Prepare both cash and account invoices.
  • Customer Liaison: Liaise with the Foreman/Service Manager on the progress of vehicles in the Workshop.
  • Communication: Inform customers of any delay in completion, deal with customer queries and complaints, and ensure that information required for Warranty items is recorded on the Job Card.
  • Workshop Loading: Ensure that the Workshop loading system is maintained and that information is recorded accurately.
  • Parts Department: Liaise with the Parts Department regarding parts on order for vehicles in the Workshop/Service customers/forthcoming bookings.
  • Documentation: File Job Cards and other documentation.
  • Flexibility: Be fully flexible to cover a wide-ranging variety of duties as required by the Managing Director, Finance Director, and Group After sales Director or Department Manager.

Requirements:

  • Motor Trade Experience: Must have motor trade experience.
  • Communication Skills: Must be eloquent, professional, and presentable.
  • Customer Service Skills: Able to deal with challenging customer queries in a calm and professional manner.
  • Leadership Skills: Able to lead meetings and work across teams in a professional assertive manner to ensure Quality Scores improve and remain high.
