Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Assessment Nurse to join our team in a hybrid working environment. As an Assessment Nurse, you will be responsible for providing unbiased, comprehensive assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP) while ensuring a personalized, inclusive, safe, and empathetic service for the service user.

About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity for Adult Nurses, Mental Health Nurses, and Learning Disability Nurses to further their careers and make the most of their existing clinical knowledge. You will have the autonomy to manage cases from end to end, including delivering face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls, and paper-based reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP)
  • Manage caseloads from end to end, including face-to-face and virtual assessments
  • Provide a personalized, inclusive, safe, and empathetic service for the service user
  • Have time built into your working rota for breaks, CPD, audit amendments, requesting and reviewing further evidence, and team meetings

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Paramedic with 1+ years of post-qualification experience. You will also need to have valid registration on the NMC or HCPC without restrictions and excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy.

What We Offer: As a valued member of our team, you will have access to a range of benefits, including a basic salary of £38,500 - £41,500, a 5% retention bonus, rising to 10% quality and retention bonus, and an OTE of £45,650. You will also have the opportunity to work in a hybrid remote environment and have access to training options, including 12 weeks' full-time training, 14 weeks' 4-day week training, and 17 weeks' 3-day week training.
