Job Summary

TÜV Rheinland Europe is seeking an experienced and dedicated QHSE Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, developing, and maintaining our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) Management Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards, as well as TÜV Rheinland policies and procedures.
  • Provide essential leadership and expert advice to the management and staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Scope of Work
  • Oversee all QHSE activities across TÜV Rheinland Solution Groups and support services.
  • Engage with external bodies, including customers, Certification Bodies, Health and Safety Executive, and TÜV Group QHSE.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Compliance and Standards: Interpret legislative requirements and TÜV group procedures to develop and implement appropriate QHSE standards and procedures for the TÜV Rheinland business.
  • Certification Maintenance: Ensure TÜV Rheinland maintains compliance and retains ISO certifications.
  • Audit Coordination: Lead and coordinate audits conducted by external bodies, such as Certification Bodies, customers, HSE, and TÜV Rheinland Group.
  • Expert Advice: Provide comprehensive QHSE advice and support to the management and staff.
  • Training Development: Identify QHSE training needs, develop and implement training programs, and manage training metrics and tracking systems.
  • KPI Reporting: Monitor QHSE Key Performance Indicators to the management and staff.
  • Internal Audits: Execute an internal QHSE audit program in accordance with ISO and TÜV Rheinland standards.
  • Procedure Management: Implement a suite of QHSE controlled procedures, records, and systems.
  • Incident Management: Lead and coordinate investigations into accidents, incidents, and near-misses.
  • Customer Relations: Manage customer complaints and ensure resolution in accordance with established procedures.
  • Risk Assessment: Provide risk assessment support and approval to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Culture Promotion: Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the organization. Represent TÜV Rheinland QHSE at external conferences and customer presentations.
  • Communication: Disseminate key safety learnings and statistics to TÜV Rheinland stakeholders.
  • Competency Management: Coordinate the centralized training and competency system management.
  • Management Review: Coordinate and perform annual Management Review of TÜV Rheinland activities.
