District Nursing Team Lead Opportunity

A leadership position is available for a skilled and experienced District Nurse to oversee a team of community nurses in the Hambleton and Richmondshire area.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead by example, delivering exceptional clinical care and innovative practice while supporting the Clinical Lead in managing ever-evolving teams. The successful candidate will work closely with GP practices and other partners to provide support to patients with complex needs, preventing unnecessary hospital admissions.
The ideal candidate should have excellent leadership, team-working, and communication skills, as well as proven experience in managing patients in a community setting. They must be prepared to adapt to changing service needs and lead by example in delivering effective evidence-based care to a defined demographic population.
About South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation TrustSouth Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers leadership and improvement training to all new staff. This training program aims to develop leaders' understanding of leadership and management skills, promoting trust values and behaviors. The six-and-a-half-day program covers topics such as leading your team, service improvement, and lean practitioner skills.
After completing this training, staff can explore further leadership and improvement opportunities through the Leadership and Improvement Team. Additional courses and programs are also available in-house and externally.
