About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Bank Staff Member to join our team at Bright Horizons Fleet Day Nursery and Preschool. As a Bank Early Years Practitioner, you will have the flexibility to work when you want, while enjoying the security and benefits of being an employee.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Nursery colleagues in delivering the EYFS, engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, and ensuring their safety throughout the day.
- Work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed in line with nursery demands.
- Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive, happy, and safe environment.
Requirements
- Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
- Previous experience working with children, such as a Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, or Childminder.
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
- Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable.
