Nursery Assistant Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Assistant to join our team at Bright Horizons Fleet Day Nursery and Preschool. As a key member of our nursery team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to our children, aged from birth to five years old.
Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with our experienced team to deliver engaging and interactive play activities, reading, and learning experiences for our children.
- Communicating effectively with parents and carers to keep them informed about their child's daily activities and progress.
- Providing a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social development of our children.
- Supporting colleagues in planning and delivering the nursery curriculum, ensuring that our children reach their full potential.
- Ensuring the welfare, protection, health, and safety of our children, and promoting a culture of safeguarding within the nursery.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children, although not essential, is highly desirable.
- A passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
- The ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and parents, and to communicate effectively with both children and adults.
- A sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding practices.
