Job Title: Graduate Outreach Tutor

Salary: £27,000 – £33,000

Location: Bishops Stortford - Hertfordshire

Contract Type: Permanent, Full time

At Whitetrees Group, we are seeking a dedicated Graduate Outreach Tutor to join our team. As a Graduate Outreach Tutor, you will work closely with pupils who require individualized support due to complex needs. This role offers the opportunity to build positive relationships and provide tailored education to meet the unique needs of our students.

The day-to-day role involves implementing pupils' interests into their learning, following strategies designed by our Wellbeing team, managing behaviour effectively, and being accountable for the pupil's attainment, progress, and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to pupils' interests and needs
  2. Collaborate with the Wellbeing team to implement strategies and interventions
  3. Manage classroom behaviour and create a safe and supportive learning environment
  4. Monitor and report on pupil progress and attainment

Requirements:

  1. Minimum education standard to A-level or equivalent
  2. Experience in planning, delivering, and evaluating lessons
  3. Experience working with pupils who have SEMH
