Job Title: Graduate Outreach Tutor

Salary: £27,000 – £33,000

Location: Bishops Stortford - Hertfordshire

Contract Type: Permanent, Full time

At Whitetrees Group, we are seeking a dedicated Graduate Outreach Tutor to join our team. As a Graduate Outreach Tutor, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support outside of the classroom. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute to the educational development of our students.

The role involves working one-to-one with pupils, implementing tailored learning plans, and providing support to help them achieve their academic goals. You will work closely with our Wellbeing team to develop strategies and interventions that cater to the individual needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement personalized learning plans to meet the needs of each pupil
  2. Work closely with the Wellbeing team to design and implement strategies for supporting pupils with complex needs
  3. Manage behavior effectively to create a safe and supportive learning environment
  4. Monitor and track pupil progress, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes

Requirements:

  1. Minimum education standard to A-level or equivalent
  2. Experience in planning, delivering, and evaluating lessons
  3. Experience working with pupils who have SEMH
