A talented Hybrid Infrastructure Solutions Expert is sought after to join Bechtle UK's Technical Pre-Sales function. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of customer challenges and the ability to design and implement end-to-end HI solutions. As a key member of the HI Pillar, this role requires a strong technical knowledge of vendor solutions and the ability to articulate the value of these solutions to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively maintain Bechtle's HI portfolio to ensure it remains up-to-date and aligned with market demands and trends.
  • Assess, design, and present end-to-end HI solutions to meet customer requirements of all sizes and industries.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge on applicable assessment tools to support the architecting, sizing, and configuring of HI solutions.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of the competitive landscape and complementary solutions.
  • Proactively deliver product updates into the HI pillar and wider Business Solutions and Services on key product information, incentives, and general announcements.
  • Identify opportunities to convert basic Bill of Material (BoM) requests into wider solutions that encourage upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Pursue certification and develop expertise in key vendors such as HPE, DELL, Cisco, and Aruba, with a focus on a specific solution area as the role develops.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and surrounding service partners.
  • Support and manage existing customer technology and software plans.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • University degree or good A-Levels preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment where hard work and fun are key ingredients.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills.

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the technology industry.
  • Experience working with server or datacentre solutions preferred.
  • Understanding of enterprise computer hardware, software, and datacentre solutions preferred.
  • Organised, adaptable, flexible, and a good team player.
  • Ability to plan and manage time effectively.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to make sense of data and report on it.
  • A strategic mindset and the ability to develop and implement business plans in line with overall company objectives.
