We are seeking a skilled and experienced social worker to join our team on a permanent basis. Located in the West Midlands, this role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing for a balance between work and personal commitments.

As a Careers Lead for Fostering Team, you will be responsible for managing a small caseload of foster carers in and around Birmingham, supporting and supervising them to ensure the highest standards of care are met. This role presents a unique opportunity to develop both personally and professionally, with a commitment to career growth and continued training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a small caseload of foster carers, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of care are met.
  • Form F assessments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement strategies for career growth and development.
Requirements:
  • Registration with Social Work England (SWE).
  • Driver's license.
  • Experience as a supervising social worker, preferably in fostering.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range of £37,000 - £41,000 per annum.
  • Hybrid working arrangement, with 3 days of home working.
  • Capped caseload of 10, ensuring a manageable workload.
  • No Form F's if the caseload is full.
  • Mileage included at 45p per mile.
  • Supportive team environment, prioritizing work-life balance.
