Exciting Opportunity for a Structural Technician

We are seeking an experienced Structural Technician to join our Plymouth office. As a key member of our Building Structures team, you will play a crucial role in delivering projects across various sectors, utilizing Revit and AutoCAD to transform engineer's designs into detailed structural models and drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project requirements are met and drive efficient delivery
  • Undertake clash detection checks and participate in coordination workshops
  • Model reinforced concrete frame and steelwork using Revit and AutoCAD
  • Coordinate structural models with other disciplines
  • Manage in-coming and out-going models and drawing information
Requirements:
  • Building/Heavy Civil Structures Revit/BIM experience
  • Knowledge and experience of modelling reinforced concrete frame/steelwork
  • Experience of coordinating structural models with other disciplines
  • Able to undertake clash detection checks
  • Good working knowledge of AutoCAD to supplement 3D work
Desirable Attributes:
  • CADS RC detailing experience
  • Navisworks/Solibri software experience
  • Knowledge of PAS 1192
  • Prior use of project CDE's such as Asite, 4Projects or ProjectWise
