About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Structural Technician to join our Plymouth Office. As a key member of our Building Structures team, you will play a crucial role in delivering projects across various sectors, utilizing Revit and AutoCAD to transform engineer's designs into detailed structural models and drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of projects, collaborating with team members from other disciplines to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Utilize Revit and AutoCAD to create detailed structural models and drawings.
  • Participate in coordination workshops and undertake clash detection checks.
  • Manage in-coming and out-going models and drawing information.
  • Develop and maintain a good working knowledge of AutoCAD to supplement 3D work.
Requirements
  • Relevant HNC or equivalent experience in Building/Heavy Civil Structures Revit/BIM.
  • Knowledge and experience of modeling reinforced concrete frame/steelwork.
  • Experience of coordinating structural models with other disciplines.
  • Able to undertake clash detection checks.
  • Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Self-motivated and able to take responsibility.
  • Able to obtain security clearance.
Desirable Attributes
  • CADs RC detailing experience.
  • Navisworks/Solibri software experience.
  • Knowledge of PAS 1192.
  • Prior use of project CDEs such as Asite, 4Projects or ProjectWise.
