About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our Plymouth Structures team. As a key member of our Building Engineering Unit, you will be responsible for delivering structural engineering services on a wide range of building and heavy civil projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver structural engineering services, including analysis, design, and project management
  • Prepare technical specifications and reports
  • Assist with commercial and financial control of projects
  • Inspect and assess building and civil structures
  • Supervise junior engineers and technicians
  • Direct technical work and communicate design solutions
Requirements
  • Chartered status with the IStructE or ICE
  • Degree educated or equivalent in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Proven track record of delivering structural projects
  • Excellent communication and technical skills
  • Ability to obtain MOD security clearance
  • Current driving license and willingness to travel
  • Good knowledge of Eurocode Standards
