E-commerce Development Assistant

At Cancer Research UK, we are on a mission to beat cancer. Our Online Marketplace team plays a crucial role in this mission by managing our online presence and ensuring that our charity shops sell donated items efficiently.
We are looking for an E-commerce Development Assistant to join our team in Romford. As an E-commerce Development Assistant, you will be responsible for creating high-quality item listings for our online shop across various platforms, including eBay, Depop, Vestiaire, and ASOS.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Creating accurate and enticing product descriptions to attract customers and boost sales
- Researching items to ensure they are listed with the correct starting price
- Operating within our brand guidelines to maintain a consistent look and feel across all marketplace listings
- Meeting daily targets and working effectively under pressure
To succeed in this role, you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as experience working in fast-paced environments, such as retail or hospitality. You should also have a good understanding of online marketplaces and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
