Job Overview

A key member of our Group Financial Control team, you will lead the development of compliant climate and sustainability related financial disclosures, including the Non-Financial & Sustainability Statement in our annual report and accounts.

This role requires expertise in climate related financial reporting, ensuring we are well prepared for existing and future legislation. You will be responsible for identifying and impact assessing future requirements, developing implementation plans, and delivering industry best practice standards.

The estimated salary for this position is around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Focal point for climate and sustainability reporting requirements, developing subject matter expertise in climate disclosures and building a diverse network.
  • Provide accounting guidance to the business on climate related matters, including forecasting, risk management, and scenarios analysis.
  • Financial statement preparation and leadership within the GFC team.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience and understanding of UK climate related financial reporting requirements.
  • Qualified Accountant with a proven track record of producing high quality financial statements, including non-financial disclosures.
  • Experience in statutory audits and proven ability to adapt implementation strategies for successful outcomes.
