The Children's Society is seeking a skilled Family Support Specialist to join its team in Warwickshire. This permanent role, funded until March 2027, requires the successful candidate to work with families to enhance their access to support and promote their overall well-being.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, the Family Support Specialist will develop relationships with professionals across organisations and other service providers to provide emotional, mental health, and wellbeing support. The role involves occasional evening and weekend work and requires a full driving license and use of a car for The Children's Society business.

Key Responsibilities
  • To work with families facing complex social, emotional, and mental health challenges
  • Engage hard-to-reach families and provide accessible support in community settings
  • Amply the voices of children and families, ensuring their needs are heard and addressed in multidisciplinary settings
  • Conduct full and robust assessments where required

The ideal candidate will have direct experience working with families, a relevant level 5 professional qualification, and the ability to effectively assess and address the needs of families.

The salary for this role is estimated at £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including enhanced annual leave, pension match contribution, and cycle to work scheme.
