Cloud Technology Director Opportunity

At Roku, we're seeking a seasoned technical director to lead our cloud technology initiatives. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for driving our cloud strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior colleagues. Your expertise in cloud platforms, architecture, and engineering principles will be essential in shaping our cloud vision and ensuring its successful execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive cloud strategy aligned with Roku's business objectives
  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of cloud-based systems and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and prioritize cloud-related projects
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers on cloud-related technologies and best practices
  • Work closely with senior management to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, with a focus on cloud engineering and architecture
  • Proven track record of driving cloud initiatives and delivering results
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms, including AWS and GCP
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
