Care Home Chef Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Care Home Chef to join our team at Go To Outsourcing. As a Care Home Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals to the residents of our care homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals for residents, taking into account their dietary requirements and preferences.
- Manage the kitchen team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Source high-quality ingredients and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the care home team to ensure that residents receive the best possible care.
Requirements:
- 12+ months experience as a head chef in a care setting.
- Chef certifications or extensive experience cooking English-based food and managing kitchens.
- Ability to cook for 30+ people in one sitting.
- Comfortable with IDDSI training and able to work with 1 or 2 KA's.
- Ability to bake cakes and pastries.
