Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our healthcare sector projects, providing strategic project management expertise to deliver high-quality outcomes.

About the Role

This is a client-facing position responsible for managing wider consultant teams and project stakeholders, working closely with the project director to develop client strategies and oversee the appointment of professional teams and contractors.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage project delivery from inception to completion, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of projects within agreed budgets and milestones.
  • Develop and implement robust quality systems, aligned with service excellence, to ensure effective project execution.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, challenges, and opportunities for growth and development.
  • Liaise with senior stakeholders to develop and maintain strong relationships, driving business priorities and promoting Mace's values.
  • Promote a diverse and inclusive working environment, fostering a culture of safety, wellbeing, and respect.

Requirements

  • Experience in delivering projects in the healthcare sector, preferably under NEC contracts.
  • Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, or ICE, with demonstrable professional or personal development.
  • Substantial experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes in the public sector.
  • Property or infrastructure project management expertise, with commercial and financial acumen.
  • Leadership skills, with experience of developing and forming relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of carbon and sustainability considerations, shaping the outlook of projects.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including pension, life assurance, and access to training and development opportunities.
