Technical Project Management Lead

Join our team of skilled professionals as a Trainee Project Manager and embark on a two-year journey to develop your understanding of delivering projects in line with clear objectives and making decisions to manage stakeholder expectations.
This programme is designed to offer you support towards achieving a Level 8 Project Management qualification and the opportunity to complete your qualification whilst applying your learning in the workplace.
You will work alongside a multi-skilled team to deliver the project to time, cost, and quality requirements, collaborating with the Project Manager to plan, execute and monitor projects.
As a Trainee Project Manager, you will be responsible for communicating with stakeholders to understand project needs and goals, demonstrating SSE core values, and working towards developing a clear understanding of safety management systems and best practices.
Upon completion of the programme, you will be well-equipped to progress to become a Project Manager, leading Large Capital Projects, delivering substation, overhead line, and cable projects ranging in value from £10m to £2bn.
