Veterinary Surgeon Role Overview
We seek an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Essex. As part of our dynamic and collaborative environment, you will provide top-notch veterinary care to animals while working closely with our team of veterinary nurses and support staff. You will have the opportunity to excel in your career and make a lasting impact in the lives of pets and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
- Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
- Collaborate effectively with our team to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
- Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
We offer a competitive salary of up to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you can enjoy annual leave plus Bank Holidays, CPD allowance, VDS, RCVS and BVA fees paid, and much more.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
- A valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
