About the Role

N Consulting Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Markets and Securities Services Operations Technology (MSSOT) Team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in delivering global and local solutions for Global Market Operations to automate and streamline post-trade operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • FXPT Calypso Expertise: Provide clear work estimates to the Project Team and assist in the implementation of FXPT Calypso, including design, configuration, and testing.
  • Requirements Management: Understand existing FXPT Calypso functionality and communicate it to the Project Team. Categorize project requirements as fully supported, partially supported, or not supported by existing FXPT/FXPT Calypso functionality.
  • Estimate and Plan: Work with FXPT Product Owners to create effort estimates for each requirement. Ensure estimates are added to the central list and reviewed by other FXPT/FXPT Calypso colleagues.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate communication among key stakeholders, including communication of work estimates, progress of FXPT/FXPT Calypso implementation.
  • Delivery and Testing: Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and QA colleagues to deliver functionality to Production as quickly as possible. Agree on testing schedules and go-live schedules with the Project Team.
  • Problem-Solving and Innovation: Create logical and innovative solutions that maximize functionality while minimizing effort for all teams.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' Calypso software experience specializing in Business Analysis.
  • FX Post Trade experience - Confirmations, Settlements, Accounting, Reconciliations.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – communication, collaboration, presentation, influencing, and negotiation.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills.
  • Proficiency with SQL and Calypso Architecture and data model.
Preferred Skills
  • A working appreciation of Agile and DevOps.
  • Experience of working with people in different time zones with diverse backgrounds.
